UHMW Drag Conveyor Paddles

Our UHMW Drag Conveyor Paddles, also known as chain paddles or drag flight paddles, are custom made in U.S.A. by our plastic fabricators to fit any shape or make of drag conveyor. Manufactured from virgin Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE), our drag conveyor paddles set the standard for performance and durability. Our Slick and durable virgin UHMW-PE chain paddles outlast competitor chain paddles made from inferior reground UHMW, and are far superior to metal chain paddles on many levels.

Known for its high impact strength, extremely high wear resistance, slickness and excellent chemical resistance, UHMW-PE is a self-lubricating plastic that is highly suitable for the drag conveyor systems used in heavy duty industrial applications. UHMW-PE's ability to withstand extreme temperatures, moisture, chemicals and harsh environments makes it uniquely suitable for conveyors that are exposed to the outdoors and extreme weather in a wide range of industries, including mining and aggregates, agriculture, chemical/fertilizer, food processing, waste management and recycling, automotive, manufacturing, and power generation and utilities.

UHMW poly drag flight paddles are far superior to metal drag flight paddles. UHMW drag conveyor paddles are less expensive and outlast metal drag conveyor paddles, reducing both initial acquisition and maintenance costs. 

Metal drag conveyor paddles can become brittle with wear and exposure to the weather. When worn metal conveyor paddles break, they can destroy the entire chain conveyor and cause sparks that could ignite flammable or explosive materials. Spark-free UHMW paddles are far more durable and will not ignite materials, mitigating this risk.
